5-13-08: New site is here! Ive been working a long while at making the rocpadz site more user friendly and able to offer several other new products.. One of which will be available for sale here in early June. Called Color Dots, they're a set of iron-on fabric circles that can be easily applied to your existing set of ROCPADZ™. More info on these at their respective purchasing link page in the purchase section of the site. Locate "Color Dot Iron-On Set" to your left in the nav menu to explore further..

3-12-08: Ever since I began selling ROCPADZ™ I've gotten nothing but great feedback from anyone thats purchased a set. I think maybe 2 or 3 people have had sensitivity issues in the past 175 sets sold!
Still though I want everyone to be happy, so I was naturally troubled by the few that had issues. It led me to dig into what could be happening and why. I couldn't understand why my experimentation yielded flawless results from the lightest of hits to really slamming on the kit. All scenarios did not affect sensitivity for me.
After poking around on the Rock Band forums a few days, I came across similar issues involving 2 different Rock Band drum kit models. The "EL" (first generation) and the "QM" (second generation). The short of it is if you have an "EL" kit, you're likely to have unsatisfactory results with most sound dampening you apply. The "QM" are far less affected by any sound dampening treatment installed on them. I recommend that anyone with an "EL" should RMA it in hopes of getting a "QM" Ive had no trouble with mine since January 08. |
